All we offer is "Uncomplicated Christianity!"
Sometimes Less is More!

That's right. We believe sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to serving God. The church we read of in the Bible was very simple in it's beginning and was never intended to become a complicated organization. In it's beginning, the church was made up of men and women, Christians, who shared a spiritual relationship, into which they entered by means of baptism. The church we read of in the Bible was not complicated by creeds, governing boards, institutions, social clubs or other modern additions. Rather, the New Testament church, both as individual Christians and as a congregation of Christians, looked to Christ as their head and the teachings of the apostles as their rule of faith. That was all!
The New Testament pattern of worship is followed with the First Century Church as our example. We sing, pray, teach, commune and give of our means as God has prospered us. No Visitor is coerced at any time, in any way.
The singing is congregational without the aid of instrumental music. All are invited to sing; 1 Cor. 14:15. It is soul stirring and spiritually uplifting to sing praises to our God and Savior.
Prayers are offered without display. It is simple prayer, audibly spoken by one man as others silently pray along with him. Our prayers are from the heart, not from a book.    continue...

A Difference Maker

We Should Teach The Lost

In Ezra 7:10 the Bible says, “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.” Most would agree that Ezra was a difference maker. Exactly what did he do in order to accomplish the things he did?

In the above passage we find he fully prepared his heart to seek the Lord, thus he was able to be a godly reformer.

Ezra had three fundamental attributes that made him what he was:          continue...

Exhorting Those Who Exhort

The Path of Acquiescence

In Acts 20, Paul sails from Macedonia toward Jerusalem where shackles, chains, and an angry Jewish mob patiently await his arrival. Along the way, he finds himself in Miletus. He sends word to the elders of the church at Ephesus that he desires to see them. The elders come to Miletus and meet with Paul for one final time. There were many tears shed at this final meeting (Acts 20:37-38). Goodbyes are always difficult. The closing words of any final farewell always have a way of penetrating deep into a person’s heart and mind. God knew this (He knows everything-Ps. 147:5). Thus the Spirit took advantage of this final farewell and delivered an urgent message through Paul’s inspired mouth. It was an important message for the Ephesian elders, but it’s also an important message for the elders of the church today.
